Construction

CMP Narcotics Cabinets are constructed of type 304 stainless steel with No. 4 finish.  Welding is done by the Heliarc process.  All exposed welding is ground and polished to match the No. 4 finish.  Narcotics Cabinets are constructed of No. 18 gauge body with double wall end panels.

CMP Narcotics Cabinets are provided with one fixed bottom shelf and 3 removable shelves adjustable on ½” centers. Narcotics Cabinets are enclosed with outer and inner locking doors mounted with continuous stainless steel piano hinges.  The 18 gauge stainless steel double pan outer door comes with two cylinder lockes keyed alike. The 16 gauge stainless steel single pan inner door comes with one cylinder lock, keyed different.

CMP Narcotics Cabinets front top header comes with a red warning light which shall illuminate when the doors are open and remain “ON” until the doors are locked.

Service Requirements

Standard electrical requirements: 115 vac, single-phase, 60 Hz hard wired through the back of the cabinet.
