Construction

CMP Operating Room Storage Consoles are comprised of one or more of following modules arranged in battery to accommodate needs of particular hospital operating room.  Each console shall be constructed of Type 304 stainless steel with No. 4 finish.  Welding is done using the Heliarc process.  All exposed welding is ground and polished to match the No. 4 finish.

Surgical Table Accessory Cabinets have interior back and sides covered with ¼" thick tempered removable pegboard and 24 chrome-plated hooks. The cabinet’s stainless steel, hinged, double-pan, sound-deadened doors have chrome plated handles and a stainless steel bracket with three removable and laterally adjustable stainless steel hooks on the inner panel.

General Storage Cabinets have one fixed bottom shelf and three adjustable intermediate shelves for storage of surgical products.  The cabinets have two full-height, hinged, glazed doors with chrome plated knob handles and a stainless steel frame. The doors have ¼" thick shatter-proof, safety glass panes.  Glass-pane doors are available for both sides of the unit as a "pass-through" feature, providing access to the contents of the cabinet from the corridor side.

Desk Cabinets have an open upper portion with a sloped, stainless steel writing surface that has a cork bulletin board at the rear.  A recessed fluorescent light with switch is located at the front of the cabinet ceiling.  The lower portion of the cabinet has four double-pan stainless steel drawers mounted on ball bearing slides with locks and chrome-plated handles.

Miscellaneous Supply Cabinets contain one fixed bottom shelf and three adjustable intermediate shelves.  The cabinets come with a full-height, hinged, glazed door with a chrome-plated handle.  Glass-pane doors are available for both sides of the unit as "pass-through" feature, providing access to the contents of the cabinet from the corridor side.

Instrument Cabinets have four full-width and depth shelves with edges turned down and under to form channels.  The shelves are adjustable on full height stainless steel pilaster strips and rest on stainless steel clips.  Full-view doors allow complete visual inspection without blind areas caused by cross pieces.  The doors have chrome plated knob handles and a stainless steel frame and incorporate ¼“ thick shatter-proof, safety glass panes.  Glass-pane doors are available for both sides of the unit as a "pass-through" feature, providing access to the contents of the cabinet from the corridor side.

Clean-up Counters have a 36" high counter top work surface constructed of No. 16 gauge stainless steel with an integral 4" high backsplash and includes five cove-cornered sink bowls with strainer drains and chrome-plated gooseneck faucets for distilled and hot and cold water.  The counters also have a deck-mounted air valve with a 72" hose and a chrome-plated tube washer with a combination faucet, vacuum breaker, and eight valved outlets.

The unit contains two enclosed and one open storage compartments.  The base cabinet includes a section on one side that is 24" wide x 27" deep and contains a 5" deep, removable, stainless steel drawer mounted on ball bearing slides.  The base cabinet also has bottom and intermediate shelves concealed with hinged double-pan doors.  The counters also have a 36" wide section on the other side that is for open storage.  The open storage area has a fixed bottom shelf and two adjustable intermediate shelves.  The middle portion of the unit is 66" wide and includes a bottom shelf and hinged double-pan doors.

Workflow can be specified left to right or right to left.
